"Hope is boundless; a light in the darkest of voids. It can be an endless resource when you have little else left. Something meant to inspire one to push on-or stand one's ground, against all odds. It never promises a better day, but instills a willingness to create one.

Join us for 'HOPE: A Poetry Lives Foundation Open Mic ,' a themed poetry open mic celebrating one of the most powerful emotions in the human experience. Bring your verses of resilience, dreams, light, and perseverance-or just have a listen. Whether seasoned or new, share your voice and nourish the soul. Let’s contribute to our community.  encouragement together.

Open to all.

Held at Batch Craft Beer & Kolaches on 4/25 at 5pm, This will be the first in a monthly 'Last Saturday' pop-up series, each held at different locations throughout Austin and spanning from April to August.

The Poetry Lives Foundation is an organization dedicated to promoting and supporting both the art and culture of poetry. Our mission often includes not only fostering an appreciation for poetry, but also advocating for the culture of poetry as well. We will work to provide platforms for poets to share their work while supporting existing platforms, and encouraging new and diverse voices, thereby cultivating community.
