Amelia Ray is The Interpreter: a singer-songwriter whose 31-year career has brought to life rhythmic and emotional storytelling performances full of characters as confused and contradictory as we all are.
Ray’s catalogue includes cross-genre compositions like “Ana no potable,” a song in Spanish dedicated to a former mayor of Madrid, “Dream,” a tribute to musical theatre, and the award-winning trip through U.S. racial history “Hambone Says”.
The San Francisco native has performed across the States and Europe, and is also the founder of Europe for Ukraine – an initiative to produce an original, multilingual composition in support of Ukraine.
