Anthropos All Stars: Pachanga a la Mexicana!

  • Batch Craft Beer & Kolaches 3220 Manor Road Austin, TX, 78723 (map)

We’re throwing a party the best way we know how—with live music, community, and a whole lot of dancing. Join us on Sunday, September 21st at Batch for our monthly Anthropos All-Stars show, this time honoring Mexican Independence Day with a setlist guaranteed to keep you on your feet.

Expect a high-energy mix of polkas, cumbias, Afro-Mexican grooves, and upbeat dance tunes—all performed by our powerhouse crew of current students, alumni-turned-pros, and the professional musician mentors who guide them. This isn’t your average concert. It’s an awesome family-friendly fiesta where the dance floor is open, the kolaches are fresh, and the rhythms hit harder than the traffic on I-35.

Come celebrate independence, culture, and the next generation of musicians making big noise in our city. Bring your dancing shoes (and maybe a towel).

Anthropos Arts is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to connect low-income youth with professional musicians, cultivating confidence, integrity and life-skills through musical instruction and mentorship. Our students get free instruction and mentoring from some of the best artists in the country, performance opportunities at Austin’s seminal venues and events and exposure to a wide range of music as both audience and performer.
