Water Marbling with Textile Artist Mercedez Rex

Join us for an evening of exploring water marbling at Batch Craft Beer (featuring an all day HAPPY HOUR!) with textile artist Mercedez Rex. Students will learn a brief history of marbling before diving in to experiment with basic techniques of manipulating paints on the surface of a water bath. Each participant will have their own marbling vat and time to engage in creative play and experiment with color combinations before transferring their designs to both paper and silk textiles.
